In this program you will hear a selection of Sabina and Sam’s favourite pieces. Sabina and Sam’s musical journey began in 2015 at the renowned French festival Les Estivales de Megevewhere they first met and have since then shared countless musical moments together. This concert promises to showcase the favorite gems from their repertoire, spanning from lieder to tango and major sonata;
Brahms Cello Sonata in F major, with its expression and technical brilliance it stands as a testament to Brahms’ legacy as one of the greatest composers of the Romantic era. At this event, other renowned compositions such as the beloved “Méditation” from the opera “Thaïs” and Schubert’s “Schwanengesang” will also be interpreted through the expressive voice of the cello, capturing the essence of these timeless pieces in a new and captivating light.
